I've been commuting with these pants now in November and love them. The fabric is really nice - stretchable and fit well, and I can wear padded shorts underneath. In a rain squall they shed water pretty well - may not be waterproof but I was dry inside when I got to work, dried quickly and are really warm. Very comfortable as I can keep them on at work if I don't have time to change when I get there. The turn-up cuffs with a snap work great to keep the pantleg out of the chain, but with booties I tuck them inside and have a nice tight fit. Plus I love the fact they are handmade on Mercer Island just 8 miles away.
