Bought this pack direct from the store in September. I've been using it 5 days a week for my commute to school. This last March was the rainiest on record (9.44" I believe the total was) and this pack was flawless. Bright interior lining, ergonomic (most comfortable pack I have ever worn, including camping backpacks), functionality and simplicity are the real highlights. Most commuter packs are dry-bags with shoulder straps and no adaptability. The Module 25 allows for modification to include laptop transport, a tumbler for thermoses, additional pockets, you name. Best pack I've ever bought.

I use this backpack daily for commuting (bike -> commuter rail -> bike) in and out of Manhattan. It's a great pack that withstands all the abuse the city and weather can give it. Through rain and snow, and debris flying around the streets, the inside stays completely dry and clean. The multiple adjustments allow for a comfortable fit - no flopping. And I like the exterior strap options for carrying other stuff. Clearly a lot of thought went into the development of this pack. Great design. Made in the U.S. All good stuff!

Awesome pack - a dry bag inside of a comfortable backpack, what could be better? Haven't had a chance to take it out in the rain yet but I have no doubt it will perform great. I actually can't wait for a chance to ride in the rain. I love the wide webbing of the waist belt which actually gives you some support rather than the thin webbing many other commuter packs use. Buy it. I was happy I did.

This is the best commuting backpack I've ever seen. the right amount of space without being bulky, and it fits great with widely adjustable shoulder, sternum and hip straps. The simple roll-top closure is fast and watertight, and the available lash straps make carrying something bulky (like a wheel to a repair shop) easy. I have 2 commutes, one a mile and the other 20 miles, and this backpack works amazingly well for both. Thank you VT!

Many thanks for the thinking that you have out into your module 25 backpack. You describe this as the "base unit" of all you other bags and I fear that undersells it. This has plenty of space for a laptop and change of clothes, the large easy-to-access front pocket is great for the U-lock with room to spare for gloves, keys, phone... And it keeps things desert dry even in the pouring rain. Still, I think the pack's best feature is its fit. I have tried many different backpacks on many commutes and all of them constantly remind me they are back there - either flopping back and forth or tugging on my chest making it tough to ever catch a full breadth. With your pack, I often forget I'm carrying it at all, and my breathing remains unobstructed even up the steepest climbs. It's not hyperbole to say this backpack makes me look forward to the morning commute.

I bought this for my hubby - the fit is amazing, the contents stay dry, the style is eye-catching - what more can I say?
oh, yes, the service is beyond excellent! Best customer service I've ever experienced. I'm not exaggerating. And it's MADE IN THE NW!!! wooo hooo!

My husband uses this bag to ride 25 miles to work then back home. He has road in the pouring rain and this bag has kept everything completely dry. It's also big enough to hold his laptop and change of clothes + shoes.

I am very impressed with the quality of the backpack. I dare say it is one of the best purchases I have ever made... Time will tell. But, I am very hopeful that it will protect my precious 17" MacBook Pro this winter. Thank you PL, BL, and those who designed this wonderful piece of gear.

Came super quick and was exactly what I hoped it would be. I'm happy with the size and quality.
