Description Features/ Specs

The Compact 25 is a waterproof messenger backpack with plenty of room for daily commutes with multiple front pockets for great organization. Like all Velo Transit backpacks and panniers, an RF (Radio Frequency) welded liner
makes this pack completely waterproof . The draw-corded shroud closes the top of the pack and is then covered with a storm-proof flap.

The quadruple access front organizer pockets are protected by a Storm-proof Flap. Two separate zippered pockets keep your gear organized. The bottom pocket can be accessed via a vertical side zip without opening the flap. A large flat panel pocket with a side zippered access gives you easy access to your U-Lock or iPad, without opening the flap.

Reflective stripes and dual blinker mounts give you needed nighttime visibility.
3D spacer mesh is featured on the "Evazote" padded back panel to keep your back cool on summer days.

This is a great choice for commuters and urban cyclists, who need a well-organized waterproof backpack. Made of 500 Denier Cordura with 1000 Denier Tex Nylon bottom, Compact 25 is built to endure relentless urban abuse.

Truly waterproof, stable, well made and terrific. December 24, 2012
Reviewer: Seattle RN "Chris" from Seattle, WA USA
This is an awesome backpack. I am about 5'3", 125 pounds, and it fits perfectly, distributing weight evenly. It has both a hip strap and a chest strap to add stability, if needed. It is amazingly waterproof, keeping all my stuff dry even in a drenching downpour, and it holds a lot of gear, including a laptop. If you plan a real trek and to haul stuff for overnight camping, you can probably manage it but may want to go one size up, unless, like me, you can roll up stuff, use wickable layers, and manage with a few changes of clothing. I am thrilled with this. Plus it is made in the USA. No underage slave labor made this honey, which gives me satisfaction. I bought the yellow, very visible in my commute, and I like the reflective tape on the sides and back.
