This padded Laptop Pouch will keep your laptop protected and secure within your backpack.

The Laptop Pouch is made of 420 Pack Cloth, closed-cell foam back with a padded stretch cover, and a velcro top closure. Hook velcro adheres to the loop velcro on the inside of each pack, to secure the Pouch to the backpack and maintain stability. A double padded bottom protects your laptop when you set your pack down.

This is an essential accessory for any commuter who needs to transport his or her laptop between work and home.

While it works, it doesn't seem quite as nice as the rest of the pack. I guess it's the material. I feel I'm going to trash it within a year. Maybe not. It does seem to do what you say it will do very - protects my machine.
